Driver and viewing direction
The reference uses 1/4 duty, 1/3 bias at 5.0 V and 64 Hz, with a 6 o'clock viewing direction. A negative mode normally needs a backlight; specify it with the housing.

OEM DISPLAY REFERENCE
S1702D spans a 123.00 mm glass with three digit groups — three digits, a colon-separated six-digit group and three digits — under SPEED, DISTANCE, STEP, TIME, CALORIE, INCLINE and PULSE legends. The drawing specifies HTN negative mode and a 118.01 × 22.57 mm active area.
Images, 3D geometry and listed parameters are OEM reference information. Final dimensions, electrical requirements, optical configuration and construction are confirmed for your project.

Twenty-five pins on the top edge on a 2.54 mm pitch plus two pins on the bottom edge. Plan both edges in the board layout.
03 / APPLICATION DIRECTION
The source application is treadmill displays. The legends are fixed artwork; speed, distance, incline and pulse measurement and their units are produced by the treadmill controller.
ENGINEERING NOTES
How S1702D relates to LCD mode, drive, connection and integration choices, with links to the SuccessLCD engineering guides.
High twisted nematic glass: better contrast and a wider viewing angle than TN at a similar cost. Negative mode shows bright segments on a dark background with a backlight. Compare TN, HTN, STN, FSTN, DFSTN and VA →

A negative LCD needs a backlight; the look is close to a VFD or LED readout. VFD vs LCD →
04 / PRODUCT SUPPORT
No backlight is part of this reference. Negative-mode HTN glass is normally used with a separate backlight, which is specified for your project.
The listed legends belong to this reference artwork. Different wording or icons would be a custom variant confirmed with the project.
